Amit Tripathy is an Indian singer, musician, and lyricist best known for his performances in the Hindu devotional music, bhajan, and music albums, ghazals. He started his journey in the field of music 25 years ago. His first music Guru was his elder brother Ajit Kumar Tripathy. He then learned Hindustani Vocal and Ghazals from his Guru Late Baladev Singh in Jharsuguda. He also learned from Ustad Rashid Khan.

He took an exile from the world of music for about 15 years due to some issues and he started his second innings in the field of music again at Cuttack. Cuttack is the heart of the Odia Cinema and Music industry. Then there were no looking back and by today he has 2000+ Odia bhajan, Music album, Patriotic film, and Ghazals to his credit.

Out of 2000+ music compositions,  most of his songs are Jagannath Bhajans in both Odia & Hindi. In this era of Youtube and Digital Marketing, most of his songs have more than lakhs views. His songs are available on all the youtube channels serving Odia music.

As a music composer, Amit Tripathy has composed for renowned Odia and Bollywood music singers like Amit Mishra, Humane Sagar, Aseema Panda, and many others.
